:shock: found out about the 15mm nut on saturday after another 2 hrs trying to get a 13mm wobbly on it :lol:  :lol:  :lol: should have checked the forum b4 having another go.

did changing the starter motor cure the problem in the end !

just thought i would ask the question cause a lot of people including the AA (absolute arse) man identified mine as needing a replacement starter. this i did having already checked all the fuses but to no avail. turned out the relay for the starter had gone. £5 to fix  + £100 for a starter i didnt really need . I have since bought a multimeter and been taught how to check relays.
