'Green' car show
« on: March 30, 2007, 13:03:55 »
There was a piece on BBC Breakfast this morning about the green car show at the Eden Project in Cornwall. Many manufacturers and fuel producers are there touting their wares!

They also interviewed Dick Strawbridge (it's not easy being green, BBC2) who had arrived in a 20 year old Land Rover 90 running Bio fuel. Although he said that he was happy to see manufacturers trying to do something about emmisions, he asked how many of these cars would still be around in 20 years like his LR? His comment was something like "that's about as good as it gets when it comes to recycling!"

And the BBC left it in the interview   What a breath of fresh air (if you'll pardon the pun!).
