Yoshi:
Fair comment lol, will do that tomorrow, can run the hot water through the hose to the rad, and can put 5ltr of de-ionised water in the boot just in case!

Range Rover Blues:
You can make your own de-ionised water but it's probably cheaper to buy it.

Unless you know anyone who collects rainwater.

Yoshi:
unfortunately i dont! lol, so i should fill the rad til its full then fill the black thingy next to it as well where we normally put water in as well? is that about right?

Range Rover Blues:
Had a quick look at the book of words.

Fill the cooling system with a fast stream of water into the brass plug on top of the engine, on the heater pipes, to avoid air locks.

You can also fill the rad up via the plastic cap but TBH the rad is self-bleeding.  The reservoir needs topping up too (black plastic bottle).

Don't worry if it uses loads the first time you get it how, it might still have air bubbles in it from filling.

Yoshi:
Right she is running again now, but alas she wont run on LPG, i dont know why, gonna read the other posts on the other thread, but the rad is in and not leaking, no overheating on the small journey i did bringing it home, just gonna be expensive running it on petrol til the lpg is fixed!
