Ive had enough!
Yoshi:
Well i have now purchased a rad off ebay, £75 delivered, couldnt afford a new one unfortunately.
Hopefully that will arrive before the weekend and then i can get it fitted and then find out if i am going to become very knowledgeable in the replacement of head gaskets lol
Yoshi:
Right, rad has arrived, operation rad replacement shall commence tomorrow, was gonna go for the de-ionised water approach but alas funds dont allow!
So wish me luck, and i will post the results tomorrow :D dont know if i am gonna know if its fixed or not really lmao
Range Rover Blues:
Try using boiled water or water from your hot tap then.
Yoshi:
using hot water for filling the rad and the other tank thingy? the other thing is i dont know how i will know if its fixed the problem or not lol
Range Rover Blues:
Sorry, if you use water from tyhe hot tap then a lot of the **** will have settled from it and in hard water areas the limescale can be lower than tap water too.
As for if it's fixed it, suck it and see I'm afraid. Keep 5L of water in the boot for a few weeks in case it gets too hot.
