Always thought that'd be against their terms to be honest. Think of it like bidding in a proper auction house, only part way through to be told "Sorry someone's just responded to an ad we put in the paper and we've sold it that way".

also that way you are actually telling potential ebay buyers the truth!

Doesn't really count for anything if it's in their terms and conditions, which you'll have agreed to when you put the listing up.

Range Rover Blues:
I had one cancelled as it was a car I'm breaking for parts.  they don't liet othink they might miss out on something.

You have to list it now as something like, if you want any parts other than the one I'm listing, contact me to see when it will be listed.

I've been ok with that one so far, and i always reserve the right to end the auction early as it's advertised elsewhere.

that's my right, but E-Blag are fast becoming the Microslop of the auction world.

making millions of dollars isn't enough for them.

Anyway, there';s a new on line aution starting up, I'm going to try that.
