I've owned my ACER laptop for 2 years now. Excellent piece of kit. .:):):)

Acer stuff is generally some of the best stuff on the market, built to last and highly recommended.
Currys and pc world have some laptops in at the moment for under £300 delivered and that seems to be the best deal out there at the moment.

I have a mate whos Acer Desktop has been sent back after a short period as it was refusing to load.
But i have an Acer Laptop and it has been amazing, I run memory map off it without a problem. And i was advised by an imdependent shop who didn't even sell them to get one as they are considerd a top brand.
It is about a year old. And it runs better than my parents 2.8 Gig desktop they have.
Have a butchers at Tesco as they sell Acer laptops at a fair price too.

Johnty has an acer that he has never had any trouble with. I bought one in august last year and in december demanded my money back as it had spent more time at the repair shop than with me. Seems if you get a good one it will be really good but if you get a bad one you are stuffed :cry:

:D :D Having used all sorts of computers over the years I am absolutely convinced that the only way forward is Apple...I know they are a bit more expensive but they are worth every penny and it stuffs Bill Gates so that makes me happy...you only get what you pay for in this life...regards
