Transfer box oil

Range Rover Blues:
Because of the afformentioined cockup I ran mine on EP90 for well over a year.  It makes no difference (tad quieter).

Difflock:
Thanks for that boys,I thought I had a duffer on my hands,looks like she my have been serviced by someone who knew what they where doin

P.S its a 5 speed manual,the 380 box I think
P.P.S its the BW transfer box

Range Rover Blues:
Now I heard something about the R380 being a different oil to DexIII, but if reverse is next to your leg then it's a R380, if it's next to 1st (and the box is s**t) then it's a Sherpa van box (LT77).

Budgie:
Land Rover now recommends using MTF in the R380, although ATF is fine.  :wink:
