You can't rely on the utility companies. Expecting the usual power cuts this winter, I bought a diesel generator I came across. Rigged it up so I can run the house off it.  :D  Guess what. :?:  Not ONE single power cut. :roll: BTW. We keep getting letters to change our gas supplier. We don't have gas. We can't get gas.
