What lift Kit Do You Recommend

(1/2) > >>

I've just bought my self some 16" rims & stuck 235 X 70 X 16 Sahara turbos on them.  I know I will need to lift her but do I do the 2" or 3"?  Is it true there are more complications with the 3"?  Has anybody used a good kit & would recommend it???

Thanks

hi john
id go for a lift combo
set of 1.5" lift springs and set of 1.25 coil spacers and same for front dampners then a 2" body lift this shud give you plenty of room
all this can be got from dave @ http://www.bits4vits.com or places like rubbers-suzuki or pro-comp explorer or la super trux i am bias but i dont think your get a better deal than through dave @ b4v

Hey John, Although I haven't been off road in mine yet mine has 235/75/15 same size as yours with a 2" body lift and 1" coil spring spacers it does look to have enough clearance, but time will tell. I have heard a lot of bad press about the 3" lift which I think has more to do with the length of the front shocks than anything else. You could put a 3" lift on but don't extend the standerd front shocks by anything more than 1.5".

Nearly the same Gary, but I had a rush of blood to the head and bought 16''!!!!!!  I think i'll go for the bits 4 vits 2" kit.

Are they easy to fit and what did you guys use to extend the gear/transfer lever?

generation-x:
yuou wont need to extend the shifters m8 maybe have to move the holes in the tunnel back about an inch or just bend the shifters slightly
