Some cars are worse than others. The cars that were current production at the point of demise are more difficult generally. We are still able to get just about everything for the Mini. Although why anyone would want to pay twice as much for a 'genuine' Mini part is beyond me. Often its the very same item as you get when you buy non-genuine!

Have to agree. But it was virtually guaranteed to fail. The management that bought it were the very same management who failed to manage it before..... you would have thought they'd have figured that  :roll:

There were, and still are, some cracking good deals to be had if you don't mind not having a warranty. Like full spec 75's at £15k or Mustang engined MG versions at £22k. Both excellent machines if you like that sort of thing. And seriously cheap.

 Well well, V8MoneyPit. I used to buy bits from DSNClassics when I was running Barnhillminis. I will be needing some more mini bits soon, I take it then you are the man!
