I went on a site visit there to see Minis being built just after the BMW take over.
It is a shame to see it like that now, but that is 'economic progress' for you.

Looking through the site made me think of all the 'explorations' that I used to do as a kid (and older) around old derelict airfields, bases and other places.
A lot of fun, but I had the perfect cover. My job.
