« on: March 04, 2007, 19:49:34 »
and the reason i've put SUNDAY! in the title is because it bugs me when i look and see "top gear tonight!" and it ISNT on "tonight" at all :P

it IS on TONIGHT however, in 10 minutes on ch2 :P well, 8 minutes now

Hmm, wasnt too sure about the rolling road they used.

Generally a rolling road like that on a high powered car is a really bad idea. I didnt see any way of giving airflow. Some cars rely on forced induction, the Firebird WS6 or any of the Zook bikes that use SRAD spring to mind, it also means theres no airflow over the rad, oilcoolers etc. Every one mines been on has had a stonking great fan in front of the car.

Limmos rocked though and I think the hampster deserved to win that, MG was class, if maybe not that well thought out :)

Very funny, but their antics are getting too obviously staged now. Lemar's acting left a bit to be belived.

It was brilliant (even if you could tell it was staged and scripted....especially Hammond's jokes!!!)  OK, so the Panda had to be cut down to pass the test to make it roadworthy (must have been a VOSA SVA?), if it had been checked how the hell did it split in half, I think it had been doctored after the test to do that!!  Same with May's, surely they would have checked the security of the steering wheel.....I'm probably looking too deep    I deal with VOSA a lot building and modifying vehicles so I am always interested in what goes on!!
