I have a back-rack from Dave Bowyer.  It sits on the towball.  Simple peice of kit and only £60 odd for the rack.  I fancy something a bit stronger now though, so I'm looking at things like the above.  I spoke to someone at Donnington about a custom winch bumper with demountable for both ends.  I'm waiting for a reply to my e-mail though :roll:

There doesn't seem to be much to the removable mounts above and I am sure they cost plenty... same goes for the bikini mounts I've seen

Whats to stop you using a nice heavy channel section 6x3 or similar - just drill holes for mounts and fairleads with matching bolts on font and rear chassis? Anderson connectors for the power and sorted?

Might be heavy but I'd manage :)

had a m8 do that on his jimny a few years back
ive found that having ur winch demountable saves ur springs from premeture :wink: sagging due to the weight of the winch thats why i did it
