Heater Matrix

Hi there, done a few of theses now, the dash has to be removed in order to get the hearter matrix out of the heater box, not a hard job just time consuming, if you local give me a shout can do it for you at a good rate :D

i did mine a while back. started at 8am and finished at about 4pm. alot of swearing ect but it was worth it. here are a couple of pics just to give you the flavour of whats involved. its not quite as bad as it looks......honest  :wink:

they are total sods to do....never again ....by the way we didn't need to remove our steering wheel but ...dam ..what a job ..was someones idea of a laugh to put the matrix in such a stupid place  :shock:

my temperature was going up and down like mad, thought it might be the thermostat (all the right signs) until I heard the water pump starting to squeel, took 3 litres of water to bring it up to the mark!! Took my front mats out and my carpet is sodden, dash out next weekend then, thank god I have a placid wife!

I did mine last year, I had put it off for 10 months but one day we drove to work literally freezing and shivering all the way. I will never do one again, I will sell the car first!
