I got a nasty E-mail off a guy from France once asking why I wouldnt sell my item to anyone outside the UK,he asked if I could post it to his son down south where he could collect it from,I asked would it not be better if his son bid on it and he returned with a very nasty e mail telling me I shouldn't be allowed to do that and it was my loss and would loose bidders like that  :?:  :?:  :?:  go figure that one

Its scary how someone can hack your account, a while a go I had emails requesting details on a Ford mustang that I was selling? When I checked my ebay account…there it was! A 1963 Ford Mustang (or something like that), located in the US, that I apparently had for sale!

I had that happen to me, luckily a guy e-amiled me as he was confused, the Merc was in the states but I was in the uk, so where was the car?

I replied "probably still on the drive of the guy who owns it".  Within the hour my e-mails were being redirected too so I couoldn't get into my account or anything but this first guy was great and helped me get sorted with E-Bay, lucky for me, and it was all over in 4 hours.

I can't comprehend how someone will go to this mouch trouble to nick stuff, wouldn't it be easier just to get a job :evil:

Can I assume that they hijack your Paypal account too then?

I closed mine down (paypal) and just keep my eblag account open for window shopping.
Sometimes if I actually like something I'll contact the seller though the "ask seller a question" link.

Am i still at risk?

In my case it was only my ebay account, thank God it wasnt by PayPall account too. But I did change all the passwords etc!
