ZX1 have you heard of it ?
« on: November 10, 2004, 21:12:59 »
ZX1 is a friction eliminator to reduses ware on engine components, good for gearboxes, diffs,cv joints etc... :D  anything where heat and friction are generated. You might have seen this on tv ? Well i swear buy it and can honestly say i have never suffered seized engine or components or locked up wheel bearings since using ZX1 for the last 5-6 years. :D  You can get it from Demon Tweeks and places like that for about £22 to £25 per 250mm bottle which treats up to 3500cc. There is a spray and high heat grease for about £15. I can get it, but min order for about £300 +  :( postage. Will be able to sell 250mm bottle for £15 and grease for £10 would anyone be interested. :?:

It's always difficult to know when these things work. I've used ZX1 in my 200tdi and it seems fine, I'll be interested if you get some.

I've used it in the engine of the Disco and used it in my Scorpio. Hadn't thought about the gearbox treatment.

When I was running minibuses, used it on them, the best was an old york 4 cylinder diesel in a Mk2 transit, that engine went round the clock with me, and through 2 vehicles, when I sold it it was still going 5 years later, the stuff seems to work, used to sell a lot of it on QVC, worth a look, one engine  had used a lot of oil, and once it ran off the stick before it got topped up, never complained with this stuff in and the engine never failed

But there are other makes around too, Lucas oils is one that has a variety of products, including steering box atf, it slowed my old leaky box down for a while on the disco, quite surprised really

Bring what you have got to Bramcote Main next week with some prices.
I will have some for the engine and the steering box.
Is it the same stuff you put in all units?
