Nuts and Volts

Ola

What size are the 6 nuts that hold the handbrake drum on please?I tried a 1/2 inch and 9/16 but no joy and dont want to use and AJ or Mole grips!

After succesfully sorting out all of the interior wiring and dash(although couple of warning lights to attend to)all required for MOT works.Hurrah!!!I did have a small patting on the back moment as apart from a switch being in the wrong way round all was right first time.

However i do have between 4 and 7 volts floating around between live and Earth without ignition on or anything.Apart from a short in the body work wiring any other thoughts!
Cheers

I think they are 5/16 BSF nuts so you would need a 1/4 BSW or 5/16 BSF spanner.

Try to use 6 sided sockets if you can get them on, less chance of it spinning

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40
