Diversity Stereo Code
« on: February 22, 2007, 12:41:26 »
I just had the car back from the LPG installer and because the battery had been disconnected I need to put the code it. Now I thought I knew the code in my head but I didn't and now it looks like I have locked it. How do I get to put the code in now? I know what it is naw but the last code I put in wouldn't go from the display until I disconnected the battery but now there are just lines on the bottom of the display and no response from any button except the power.
   HELP, I NEED A RADIO!!!!!

Try leaving it turned on and what you might find is that after 30 mins or so with it left on you may be able to re enter the code again, this is how Ford 6000 series radio's work, you get 3 attempt's at it then it locks out but it needs to be left on so you can have another go in half an hour,If your worried about leaving it switched on in your car take it out and pop it on a battery in your garage/front room then when it starts flashing again you will see it,Like I said this is the way Ford radios work so it might work yours

Done it!
You need to disconnect the battery and then when reconnected leave the radio on for exactly an hour
