It seems to be the foam, until you get the seat out.
Swapped ours no probs, then got the broken seat stripped down, and rebuilt with extra strengthening plates....

Looks like my driver's seat might have given up the ghost after the weekend playing at Bramcote. I had a rather leisurely drive home nearly horizontal :(
So I'll be looking for one now. Any blue ones about?
