Front Seats

Bush Tucker Man:
Out of curiosity, as my seat (the drivers - not mine physically) is starting to sag slightly.
How easy is it to swap the 2 over?
I guess it's in the Haynes (don't know where it is though)

I know it changes the position of the adjusters, but SWMBO has only driven it once (waste of paying the extra insurance) since I bought it, and then kept my back rake - which is odd as she's one of those drivers who likes to 'lay down' & look under the steering wheel rim    (well she does in the Fabia & Mondeo)

How heavy are the seats, easily handleable, or hernia inducing?

POTASH:
i havent swopped them over, but ive just put a new drivers seat in and itwas easy, except i had problem taking old seat out, it had collapsed and couldent get to screws underneath ](*,)  :?

Big Rich:
Swaped mine as it collapsed.  The seat itself isnit heavy. Slid the seat all the way back to get to the srews and the all the way forward for the other ones. Takes about 15 mins in all. 8)  I have keped my old seat as I think a little welding will sort it out. The rear weld goes    then with your weight (I am not saying your heavy) it just bends.

As I found shop around for a good price. I phone most of the breakers and got very different prices. If the colour is different I have been told you can swap the cloth over from your old one. Not bothered on mine yet as I have seat covers.   :P

Bush Tucker Man:
I think the foam has simply 'settled', it was saggy when I bought it.
It's not sagged far enough for anything to be broken, besides I'm only circa 10'7"
Need to get out on the bike more

Big Rich:
Don't know if your seat is sorted yet but this may help
