Does a 300tdi turbo fit a 200tdi?

I need to get a turbo for my 200tdi defender engine - does anyone know if a 300tdi one fits as these seem more common on the 2nd hand market.

The 300TDi turbo and manifold are one piece, so you would have to remove your existing 200TDi manifold if the engine will even accept the 300TDi manifold.

they will fit, but its a royal PITA and lots of modding and faffing around is required

yeh but it will choke the tdi

tubby is smaller than the TDi ones & oil fittings are different

Been there n tried that when my tdi one died

its in & working,just ned to test it
been busy the day building storage for the ironman,if i didnt have to keep correcting ur dodgy advise i woulda been out n tested it by now :lol:
