Watch yer Back

<< < (2/5) > >>

Mule:
Triumph 2000 gearbox did mine first time around, twisted my pelvis, not been the same since!

Boggert:
God are all knackered or what!

I have the odd pain in my back... did it changing the wheel on my car

Now I don't take any chances with it.

07DefenderSeb:
Slipped disc, Old Joe?

My old girl sat down at breakfast a few years back, looked at me like this   and turned white. Her disc had slipped out.

4 hour Laminectomy and a year rebuilding the back muscles, and now she's as right as a daisy  8)

I don't mean this to depress you, but if it is a slipped 'un, you can be put back right as rain. Fern and Phillip lose their novelty after a while, don't they?

Speedy recovery old chap  :D

Devon-Rover:
Feel sorry for yer mate.

I'm currently 2 1/2 weeks into a 7 weeks of not being able to work or drive.
After helping a mate break an old piano up the main section containing the iron frame to hold the strings and the wood frame to support that (it's an old upright) Fell over and landed on my left foot and fractured my big toe in two places. (no i wasn't wearing steel toe caps) But i flipping wish i did now!

So yes i agree daytime tele is incredibly boring.

Over many years of observation I have noticed that nothing heavy ever falls on your foot whilst wearing steel toe caps.

The one day you leave them off is the day that the heaviest object in the area takes the opportunity to crush your toes
