Disjointed a rib where it joins your spine, now that hurts, first and only time pain has made me pass out. Wifey phones NHS direct and they were sure I was having a heart attack LOL, appaarently I was getting a bit arsey with them, anyway ambulance turns up and they stick me on a drip with something similar to morphine, a minute later I could have danced out of my house, bloody great stuff  :D

I have an alternative veiw on this.
I first did my back bad whilst off roading in comp. safaris, pulled away the muscle from my upper spine...I had a couple of massages, stopped taking the anti-inflammatories because of the side effects.
I picked up a couple of hundred pounds of dead meat in a straight lift, ripped the large muscle at the bottom of my back, laid on a board for a couple of days.
I now have knots of pain in my back at certain times, I just tell myself that I am enjoying it, relax and get on with things.
I may be a bit weird and all that but, if you tell yourself that you are enjoying it, it seems to go away. :?
