Tractorboy16:
hi,

what is the difference in these to tyres?

AbyssDJ:
the 2nd number is the size of the sidewall, in %age of the width.... ie 235/85 = 235mm wide, 85% of 235mm sidewall height.

therefore, the 235/85 is taller - thats the one you want

extreme90:
theres only a smidge in it tho  :?
and if they a remould, theres sometimes no difference  :?
the 265 is wider aswel tho, but you proberly new that  :P
dan

Guardian.:
in theory the 85 series is 2 inches overal taller than the 75 series, lifting your axle 1 inch, but different manufacturers vary but it gives you an idea, they wont be far out.

The 235/75 has a sidewall of 7.9" the 235/85 has a sidewall of 8.9" so it will only raise the axel height by a comparison of 1/2" overall. The difference is 6.2% which equates to 60/63.7mph.
