My grandads mate got arrested for the same thing, they didn't prosecute in the end though. the burgalar robbed next doors house the next week.
My grandads mate is in his 70's..i bet hes thankfull he fought in the war for these people.

That happened to a friend of mine he found someone in his house after a night out with his wife.
The scum bag was in his discovery in his garage but he had a nasty fall down the stairs (as he chased him through the house NOT).
The police arrested him for assult but as i said he fell down the stairs in the chase it was his word againsed my mates.
he was a re offender and my mate told them he was doing work on the disco thats why it was part dismantald.
needles to say my mate got away with it.
the other fella (scum) died 5 weeks later as he was arrested and let out ,so he thought he would get a free ride home in a police car by nicking it and drove it into a wall about 3 miles away at high speed.
so as they say ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT :lol:  :lol:.

Last year I caught a scrote actually inside my Caravan in the garden, I did nt bother with the police , I gave him a bloody good hiding , if the Police had come back to do me , well Id have had to have taken  what came, but at least I knew Id defended my property and family so I would have slept at night.

It's all down to Human Rights I think.

Got a Police warning a few years ago for having a go (verbal) at someone causing criminal damage to next doors shed. Chased them off and was told that alledgedly, one of them was physically hurt when they lept over a wall to get away from me. That meant it was my fault. Only reason I wasn't arrested was because the person was a minor and the father refused to press charges.

I'm all for human rights but surely, these should be forefit if you break the law . After all, by doing so is infringing on others rights to a peaceful, law abiding existence.
