Only one side running??

<< < (2/5) > >>

zulublue:
yes all connected, I have had the fuel pump up and down today, the engine seems to flooding, so I am now wondering if its the ECU keeping the injectors open too long.

Range Rover Blues:
You can check the wirng continuety from the ECU multiplug to the injectors to make sure they are connected properly, then check the plugs on the non-firing side for petrol fouling if they are over-fueling.  Also try swapping the injector harness from the other side to see if that works ok.  Finally double-check the firing order.

zulublue:
Did have all 8 firing today but only run for a minute, still over fueling most of the time, then next time it will not fire, must have had the plugs out 10 times today at least, I am thinking of changing garages.

Range Rover Blues:
You're not doing it yourself then
that must be expensive :?

zulublue:
    You're not wrong, I wish I knew how  to do it myself the reason I ask questions on here is that I do not trust the garage or now think they know as much as they say they do.

Does anyone know of a good engine person around the Birmingham / Warwickshire area.

£1200 in labour alone so far.
