New here with a new Vitara

<< < (2/2)

wheelspinner:
I did a body lift on my SJ using some 2" box section and and few bolts total cost £14 and a bit of head scratching cant imagine a vit would be too much different.

Marcus..... Dave at bits4vits is a good source of suspension bits and knowledge.

winchman:
I paid £300 for mine, powersteering, cd player leccy windows and MOT.
Spent £40 on a second hand set of mud tyres ( Colway Ctracs Road legal as well)
Had loads of fun in it all ready, well worth the money and very good off road.
You have to be carefull not to spend too much time and money modding it and never getting to use it, I know I have been there.

Try here for a good pay & play day in Lincs , http://www.korc.co.uk/

Tyred Already:
you could try 205 80 16 MTs and std grand vitara springs.
The springs mean you will have to leave out the rubber bits and give about 2" then the tyres give you just a little bit more.
works OK for me;->
