What's the information on these ultra high-speed lines.
Is it another incoming cable, or along an existing phone line??
SWMBO works from home about 60% of the time & downloads documents & architects plans.
Might be able to persuade them to pay

In theory, anything up to 9Mbps can be reached over ADSL, although you have to be rather close to the exchange for that to happen. There are other xDSL technologies in the pipeline though; I believe HDSL should also work over a normal copper pair.
