Rock slider design

So your welding to the old inner face? Will this be strong enough (if it's not too rotten). My sills are OK but a need a bit of attention, I have tree bars ready to weld onto sliders so thought it was much better to mix the 2 together.

I saw a post on I think diff-lock that shown low profile design for sliders/relpacement sills...?  have a search if I find it I will bung up a link.

I have just gor some Gardian ones that are still lock up in the shed if you every down Farnhan way, you are welcombe to get your tape measure out...?

My sills (or at least the off side at this moment) are made from 100*50*3 box section and I chopped out all of the old sill because the top and outside were rotted through and i expect the bottom and inside needed it too. Sections of 3mm plate were used to make the chassis mount brackets.

Not a quick job :cry:, but is very satisfying to have a solid sill and floor :D .


My next plan is to use a length of tube as a rock/tree slider and brace it to the box section.
