kicked the center box out, which is now replaced by a shiny straight section of steel, welded in by the master himself :P

i need some bloody flexy hose too, to go from the air filter box to the side of the wing, to connect the uber cool custom made, super hardcore snorkel up :) been banging around in town all day trying to find some with no outcome!

battery is doing ace... no problems so far touch wood. roof rack fell off on the way home.

not really... its great, spot on ;) got the spot lights +2 on it now, too!

runs noticeably better with the center box out... still a bit rough now and then, but got a few things to try out. si reckons its just running a bit naff rather than misfiring as such... new filters (all 3) going on tomorrow, subject to motormania getting in the right air filter... so we will see what difference that makes!

developed a nasty vibratingish/grindingish noise at about 30mph though... feels and sounds like wheel bearings again, but i dont think it is - could be a knackered UJ i reckon.

I've got a complete salisbury rear axle going cheap... save you doing wheel bearings again....

Motormania... bet their not cheap... should have said would have got the stuff trade for you.
Even better, I could do you a nice ITG performance filter element for Jugs... make her breath better, and you'll never have to buy another air filter!!

hmm, drum or disc axle? id have an ITG but i've not got 50 quid to throw at it at the mo... and got sick of looking for one at a decent price so will cost about 15 quid from chavmania.

Tis a drum braked one... a disk one would be quite a few more £££'s

ITG filter is brand new... I may sort of be able to supply them

thought it must have been for that price. ill have to have a think on the it. whats the general condition of it? sake of 30 quid its not that much different than paying for new bearings once you add in diesel to get there etc.

i did guess that the ITG would be new ;)

i'll let you know, gonna rip out the centre section on my road 90 DEF 300 sooner or later....

off the peg, bolt on brackets avalable for 110 rear calipers. you'll need 110 disks, calipers and hubs and then just a little while putting it all together. i got the part numbers somewhere.

bit better than the last. still doesnt do it justice though..... chavs jaw dropped earlier when i hammered him pulling off at an island... dunno whether he was suprised by the noise, or the speed. that was AFTER he [!Expletive Deleted!] me off for a mile by driving about 2m behind us with his fog lights on. quick jab of the stop pedal soon saw him backing off
