Doing my bit
Xtremeteam:
just a word of warning its not a god idea to go pokeing about in burnt out cars, the residue thats left over from burnt seals in the hydraulic systems is carcengenic & makes your bones go to mush
Lee_D:
Indeed when some of the gaskets burn they can release an acid which eats flesh. Only way to stop it is amputation I'm afraid.
Burnt motors are best left well alone. But none the less It's a good effort, just be careful and take appropriate precautions.
jjsaul:
basically wear appropriate gloves and dispose of them with the vehicle when you've finished wearing them so you dont contaminate something else!
Bush Tucker Man:
--- Quote from: "muddyjames" --- It looks like a bedford TK lorry. I didnt realise bedfords came with 4x4 options.
--- End quote ---
The 4x4 derivative is the MK, as used for years by the British Army (obviously strengthened & built to their specification)
