Doing my bit
barnhill4x4:
A local lane to me has recently been the dumping ground for joyriders (or insurance scammers!) and burnt out cars have been appearing and blocking the lane.
A freind of mine is licensed by the authorities to remove these shells but he cant get to the cars sometimes with his big truck even though it is 4x4.
So he enlists the help of us to get them to a place to load up.
THe Terrano was a pain to drag, I had to have the SJ pulling me just to give me a little more, the car on top is a megane, it had been in the lane for about 2 years and was out of the way but while we were there we got that one too, its amazing how much it had rotted away, it was falling to bits dragging it down the lane!

looks like good fun. Would love to help if anyone needs help getting burnt out cars out of lanes around daventry. It would be something else to add to the list of wierd things I have towed. Best thing so far is a narrow boat barge. the type they put mud, sludge, pipes etc in on canals and it had a tug behind it as the water was too shallow to get the boat along under its own power.
It looks like a bedford TK lorry. I didnt realise bedfords came with 4x4 options.
