Ideas for storing tools and recovery gear in my 110 please..
110crewcab:
went to army surplus store and i got a real strong fibre glass/plastic box (a fat git like me can stand on it) with a meatal lid and its the perfect size to fit between the wheel arches and holds all your gear safe secure and out of sight
not bad for £10
Berliner Beer:
--- Quote from: "Muddy" ---Does your 110 have load securing rings? If not y not fit some and then just use a big plastic box with a clip on lip (about £2 from poundstretcher) and then bungie this the the floor.
--- End quote ---
Did the same in my 110, I jave a elastic cargo net which I can attach to the 4 floor rings (Got it from B&Q Very Cheap!). It worked when my 110 lay on it's side for a rest at whaddon. The plastic box stayed put with the contents. How ever everything in the driver and passenger seat pockets when airbourne. I have a load of bugoes which i use when the net is in use on the roof rack and they seem to work well too!
adafish:
get yaself an IKEA bag...i have all me ropes, shackles and gloves in mine, and they are easily cleaned
