Ideas for storing tools and recovery gear in my 110 please..

Cheaper the better really.

Was thinking about getting a tin box (not sure where from - maybe army surplus) and screwing that to the floor in the back. However, i would quite like to able to remove it a bit easier than having to empty it and unscrew it!

Basically i need to store stuff so when im off road or in an accident people dont get hurt by a flying socket set etc.

Anyone got any good ideas ?

Thanks

Ringo

Does your 110 have load securing rings? If not y not fit some and then just use a big plastic box with a clip on lip (about £2 from poundstretcher) and then bungie this the the floor.

Nick666:
Or if you want something similar but a little longer-lasting, ratchet straps (any hardware place) and something like the Wolf boxes (quite a few of the online places do them). Would probably take a whole lot more loading and a fair bit more bashing about too ;)

Dave:
I have found a tool bag to work well if you strap it down it hold all the tools together so does not rattle about.
I have just one bench in the back of the 90 the other side the tools so the floor is free.

in my 90 I built a wooden box the same 'footprint' as the wheel arch. then faced it with chequer plate. Bolted it down using rivnuts(x6). One man job to take it out if needed and only about 10 mins.
