Muddy Freelander!
V8MoneyPit:
Yes, I know it's hard to believe, but we do actually get the Freebie muddy
Now it's getting wetter, the entrance to our fields is getting nice and muddy! So we had the opportunity to excersise the traction control....... and how impressive is that??? I am amazed at it's ability on ordinary M+S tyres. I don't notice the mud too much in the 110, but on these tyres, the Freelander slithers around beautifully :D But when the TC cuts in you just launch forwards.... brilliant!
It may not have the ground clearance for serious off-roading, but it is a truly capable vehicle and I'm impressed. Now I've got to go and find a big slippy hill to try the hill descent control.... difficult in Norfolk

Hi
At last someone else has tried a Freebie off-road!!
Mine has had plenty of green lane trips and I have used traction control and Hill descent because we have loads of hills in Gloucester to practice on!!
It's a shame that so many people underestimate the Freebie's capabilities and how Freelanders are the forgotten Land Rover!!
