firstly happy new year
1,wont always go into first gear  so have to go into rev first ,its worse when cholks a little out but still happens when in its a replacemnt box not 6 mts ago also can be sticky going 1 -2
2,speedo stopped working again cheaked cables into transfer all seems ok an tips

Gears...... Release Bearing ?

Speedo.... Kinked Cable ? Rounded End (s) ?

hi m8
not able to get gears is most likely ur clutch not ur gear box

speedo you say you have checked the cable to the t-case have you took it out of the t-case to check the end hasn,t snapped off inside if all is well t-case side it may of popped out of the speedo at the back

did you get new thrust bearing with the kap kit?
if so i wud say stretched cable

Sounds like the thrust bearing to me... But with out getting it apart you'll never know.

What about the bearing in the flywheel?
This is usually forgotten about and can cause selection problems aswell.

As for speedo, check the console/clock as well as transferbox speedo drive.
