I took it to the village post office, after everyone stopped laughing, they said they could not accept it as it was too big! so I tried... :lol:

They were fobbing you off then as I have seen and delivered tyres in the post before and even a coffee table was sent through twice on 2 different occasions and 1 coffee table only just fitted in the van. There is no limit on size. There is a max weight though. did them selves out of business there then! Their tough luck!!!

its 70cm arcoss 25cm wide and weighs 12 kgs, I'll pop up and have another word with them.

Prices may have gone up since then as the book is a couple of years old but I know they cant use the excuse of they are too heavy as the posties red pouches they have over thier shoulders have a max weight of 16kg and the grey drop bags are 10kg.
