does anyone know of a website where you can access engine details by putting your engine number in
reason for this bought suzuki engine and would like to cross reference engine no and year of exact manufacture with details i have

Why?
If the engine is a 1298CC it is spanish, If it is 1324CC it is Japanese.  If it is 970CC and has 5 speed gearbox it is Spanish or 4 speed it is Japanese. If it is a 1590CC then it could be Japanese, Spanish or even American.

The capacity is on the passenger side of the block at the back of the engine where it bolts to gear box Should start with the letter  G.
As for websites I cannot think of any.
