The Return Of 'Top Gear'

<< < (3/4) > >>

Bush Tucker Man:
It's the Discovery 3 next week according to the programme planner on SKY.

Still really fancy the Holden (Vauxhall) Monaro from last weeks prog, or Geri Halliwell from this weeks :D
Didn't she look great compared to her 'skinny days' (& tiny next to Clarkson - been better with 'Hamster' Hammond)

Range Rover Blues:
I'd take the holden if it hadn't been rebadged as a Vauxhall.
Geri, yeah I'd take her as is, even though she can't drive, at all, to save her life, seven crashes in six months? some people shouldn't be on the road!

Colin 009:
Ok
       "Bowler yes please"
       "Geri yes please"

Range Rover Blues:
Ok but choose which one!

Bush Tucker Man:
I was talking to a West Yorkshire Police (Wakefield) Traffic Officer a couple of weeks ago when he came to interview a RTA participant.

We got talking about cars (as you do), apparantly the most missed car for M-way use is the Senator 3.0; comfy, very fast, strong, solid, mega-mileages covered without feeling flimsy.
The other missed one is the RR Classic (inV8 form) as West Yorkshire went all 300Tdi from 1994

He arrived in a B*W 530D (auto) estate & really panned it - poor acceleration, top speed, seats, towing, load-space, spares..

I'd suggested they really needed a simple, big, fast car... he pre-empted me...
They'd had a Monaro on test. It always emptied all the workshops/offices when it was started up (I can believe it)

Sadly (he said) it had to be returned;
Only 2 doors (saloon version did come across, but very limited quantities)
Too fast!!!!!
Fuel consumption (nah!!, get away :D )

Still when Humberside has Subaru Impreza's???, can't our lads have a Monaro?

West Yorkshire also has (at the Wakefield Fleet Workshops) some ex-Northern Island armoured 110's (presumably in case the riots start again in Bradford??)
