Looks better, handles better... was easier to get the older alloys on and off.. and because I got him them quite cheap  :wink:

Are proper hubcentric ones, not the plain fronted type.

Really because of what Porny has said.  Also it was either bigger tyres or big offset rims, both of which have their good points and bad points, but once you have laid out for either of the above its very expensive if you change your mind!!
I bought them for my last disco to improve stability 'cause it had a 2" lift which they did.  I also think it gives the illusion of bigger wheels because they have moved further out.
