joker777:
Hi all
I have my eye on this vitara, could you please give me your honest opinions on what its worth thanks.
Mileage: 82000
Model Year: 1996
3" Calmini articulated suspension lift
3" Calmini body lift, which i added 2 extra lift points to for less stress on the body.
Reinforced the body mounting points with steel plate, for extra strength.
3.2mm thick 48mm diameter tube external cage, rock sliders incorporated.
6 spot lights
winch front bumper( no winch )
31"x 10.5"x R15 Kuhmo mt tyres on 10" deep rims
Interior is standard, apart from the front carpets being removed. Body is in good condition for an offroad vehicle, just a few scratches and a small rust hole the size of a £2 coin, above the drivers door, this is where the roof rack was fitted.

the fact is that im despratly looking for a vitara that has done around 60K and is in good nick so i can run it to work (50 miles a day round trip) and also mod it for off road, if i buy a standard vit i am planning on doing the full lift as listed on the bitsforvits website including the procomp suspension and the body lift i was also planning on sticking a roll cage and the winch bumper from rubbers suzuki, i have the cash but sofar have been unable to find the right base vehicle :? this one has all the gear but is a little high milage so i was wondering about running it for a while then looking into doing a diesel conversion on it.
I also own a pajero and have been involved with off roading pajeros for a few years now, i am the administrator for pajerouk but i have just bought a Gen 3 GDI model and i wont be offroading that as my wife has threttend devorce if i do ;) so any info of vitaras will be greatly recived.

i saw that one on ebay , it looks nice. I wouldnt be too concerned with milege. when i bought mine it had 46 on the clock blown up at 50k but i suppose it had been a bused.
im on the 3rd engine and the one now has about 115 and its been the best so far,
i love to swim hence the cracked blocks not really the engines fault.
by the way i dont know who this is on ebay but i reckon. £1500.
would be a nice price, im sure its cost him a lot more to do all the work as these things do.
to give you an example. green verdi with sammy live axle, twin locrites ,side steps winch and winch bumper, custom rear bumper, running 33s on nice wheels went for 2.300 buy it now.
I picked up a diesel vitara the other month . has some nice stock gear on it like steel axle. strut brace. mazda 2.0 td engine . alternotor nice and high ,
as i do find my swb lacking in space
