--- Quote from: "gtomo2" ---Thanks for that found the throttle linkage was not sitting stright so unbolted the linkage from the carb and made sure everything was sitting at the end stops then put it all back together so its now adjustes and it sitting at 750 to 800 rpm at the moment. :D
One job done just two more left now
1- Leaking sunroof
2- possable head gasket gone

Mine just gone, between two cylinders I think.
£17 for just the head gasket or £50 for the full set of everything. Its not a bad job either, done one before so I know what to expect. Would say its easilly do-able in a day.

Well the fun starts finally got around to seeing whats wrong with the head and found one of the head bolts had snapped  So its off to a garage to have to remains of the bolt removed from the block lucky there is just enough to weld a bit of metal on top and unscrew it. it must of broke when the head was done by the look of it. :(mad):
Evilgoat:
check the torque on the manifold bolts too then. The bolts on no4 on mine were finger tight, also have the heat sheild off and look for a crack in it.
gtomo2:
found a crack in the exhurst manifold between number 3 and 4 cly
