High idle revs

Hello folks.
Not use to posting on here hope your a freindly bunch :wink: . Got a 91 vitari 1.6 . with  the idle sitting at arount the 1500 rpm mark. Had a look at the carb but too meny adjustment screws on it to play with so which one is for idle adjustment. can post a pic of the carb if need be tomorrow

take off the air filter (watch out for pipes undernith) stand n/s and look at left side of carb there is an adjustment screw there

I think the carb has a solenoid controlled vacuum pipe to a diaphragm that picks up the revs for cold starts too.(above the alternator end I think) Sorry i cant remember if the vacuum pulls it up or down but its worth a look

Thanks for that found the throttle linkage was not sitting stright so unbolted the linkage from the carb and made sure everything was sitting at the end stops then put it all back together so its now adjustes and it sitting at 750 to 800 rpm at the moment. :D

One job done just two more left now
1- Leaking sunroof
2- possable head gasket gone :roll:
