Both those links are cutscenes (or commercials), NOT actual gameplay shots. While they are good, ingame movies don't represent what the gameplay looks like.
 
However the Halo3 gameplay screenshots here do look the dogs bits. My kids are already bugging me for a 360 having seen this.

i used to be well into computer games... never really liked consoles though, more of a pc kinda guy.

sort of worn off though over the last year or two, because i havent bothered to update my computer for ages.. and now it appears to have killed itself anyway.

wouldnt mind an xbox 360 though... keri has an xbox and its the only console (other than a mega drive!) that i'll play
