mot time!

<< < (2/2)

killer:
you could book it in for a pre mot, then you will be told (if anything) what needs to be done to pass.

Leigh:
Trying to save money but may go for that. What does the pre mot cost?

drmike:
Isn't this getting a bit complicated for a land rover?

Lights, horn, wheel bearings, bushes if can, steering ball joints, holes in the chassis, sharp edges, you won't stand a chance of guessing emmissions, wiper blades, fuel leaks, tyres, seat belts how embarrassing is that and I've failed on them.

Far more important is which tester you use! You want someone who understands LR and ideally what you use it for.

Mike

killer:
the cost depends on the garage but is usualy just standard labore a think

Leigh:
It now has a new ticket! Had a problem with a bad earth which I gave up on trying to find and needed a new brake line. Apart from that all is well :D
