Has anyone fiited MT's on a P38 if so what size, I have 16" and 18" rims the 16" are spare so will be used for the mud tyres. I have a set of 265/70 16's in the garage, would these fit??

265/70/16 have a diameter of 30.61 "
If you have 255/55/18 on at the moment they have a diameter of 29.04 " so the muds would be bigger by about inch and a half
I have 255/65/16 all terrains on my P38 and they are exactly the same size as the 18's quoted above
I reckon you might just be alright with these muds - why not try one for size before fitting the whole lot ?
