--- Quote from: "landroverkeith" ---How would i go about changing the front of my series to look like a 90?

i put the 90 front end on, to give me lots of room for the V8, all i did was slam on the front grill and panel, and stick the bonnet on, job done, (but dont forget some bonnet catches)

i also put a 90 front end on mine, it gives me a place to mount an oil cooler and intercooler

--- Quote from: "Rich_P" ---I think this is his V8 Series.  If it is, then that is most certainly a Series 3 front end and Series 3 hinges.  But the bulkhead is a Series 2A bulkhead by going off the widnscreen hinges...  :?

I think I know what it is.  If it is an Ex-MOD vehicle, or a vehicle that was not registered on the roads until '77 then it could very well be a 2A.  I'd say it's a 2A from 68-71 due to the location of the lights in the wings and lack of a vent hole on the passenger wing.  While the grill is a Series 3 grill, a common replacement to "upgrade" the 2A to 3 when the 3 was in production and thus worth more.

Yup indeed thats my little toy and yes your right its a 2a and it was registered for roads at a late date the log book says 66 i think cant remeber without digging out all the gumpf but its  tax exempt :) so i can pay for the extra fuel not the tax lol
