 Sounds good to me

Devon-Rover:
and what did he expect with a 2.5 NA under the bonnet? The damm thing will struggle to move itself, let alone with 2 tonne of trailer and dog meat on the back.     Not surprised it took him that long to get a tree it takes 2 weeks to hit 60.

We see exactly the same with the “proper old Land Rover”. It’s rubbish: uncomfortable, slow, impractical and with prices starting at £20,000, not that cheap. But nobody has the courage to pull the plug on a 60-year tradition, and start again. But somebody should.

Couldn't have put it better myself

No, because Clarkson had a 110 for the day and took it around London and was in awe at the way in which other road users threw themselves from his path.

Something doesn't have to be good, or the best, to be cool. It just have to have that certain 'something' about it. And like them or hate them, Defenders are a real motoring icon, and there ain't many of them about these days.

:)  :) It has to be said...the man has a point...if only Mr Honda or Mr Toyota could get their hands on them...then oh boy you'd see a difference...
