Kumho 834 Road Venture MT Sidewalls
« on: November 27, 2006, 15:20:23 »
Has anyone had any problems with the sidewalls of these tyres?. I have only had them fitted five weeks and have received some serious slashes in the sidewalls of two of them. Some from a play day and some from a day laning on Salisbury. Just wondering whether anyone has had similar problems or am i just unlucky. Cheers

I've got a couple of gashes in mine, but I'm not worried about them, there isn't any bulging and they've been there awhile. They also appeared soon after fitting funnyly enough!

there is alot of flint around these parts (Berks and Hants) and salisbury plain is all deep rutted lanes which is asking for sidewall trouble i suppose. The tyre sidewalls before being fitted do feel rather soft.

They need to be sodt on a MT so that you can run them nearly flat.
