« on: November 26, 2006, 10:24:11 »
Well up until very recently (i.e. today) i didnt know these existed lol.  So far this morning i have been out to McDonalds for me breakfast, taken the dog for a run on the beach and wired in a switch for me electrics to work.

Surely this must be a day of rest, its now 10.20am and i havent rested one bit, even had to give up some of 1 of me bacon and egg mcmuffins to the dog who thought it was really nasty that i didnt think to give him any!

Thinking for the rest of the day, if it stays like this, getting me paintbrush out and painting the inner part of the rear tub and the inside of the rear door, i might - i say i might even tidy the front of it up so it looks less like an electrical retailers shop or a bin outside mcdonalds and more like someones personal transport!!!

I am lucky, dont need to go anywhere else today, so i think the painting is probably the best idea while the rain has stopped, just need to find me hand painting brushes and me dustpan brush for wiping it all down lol  This is going to be fun, then i need to measure me new thick rubber flooring to go in the boot, then possibly need to get some hooks and pop rivet them on so that i can use me mini ratchet straps to hold my trolley jack and toolbox in place, but i dont know how i am going to fit all this in lol

I had intended going to the big auto-jumble at Huddersfield with the father-in-law, but both of our SMWBOs put their collective feet down :(

It's nice and sunny here. Been for a nice walk in the fresh air.
I shall take the family out for a spin later.

I'm usually too busy to enjoy a nice quiet day.

toped up oil, water, washers and brake fluid..... ready for Bures and the inevitable recovery of ringo's 110 like last weekend!

Went laning yesterday 'till about half eight.  Bit pooped today, car is filthy 8) .  Might have to do a bit of DIY this afternoon and I'm not in the mood to tinker outside anyway, even though I've got a sports exhaust to fit to the LSE

Right, well i have just been out and painted my rear tub on the inside, well i say painted it, i attacked it with a paint brush and some green paint, didnt to the delicate bit though, think i need to cook Dreadnought lots of dinners and ask her very very very nicely to do that lol

But in my haste i forgot to do something, i need the measurements of the floor part of the rear tub lol, i have some rubber stuff that i need to cut to size for the boot ready for before the dog gets in again, so if anyone has the measurements of the floor bit of a series 3 88" rear tub please let me know :D lmao

Tisnt illegal dude :)

Only screwing with ring-mains, EG installing them is naughty now.

Today was spent doing MORE emergency lighting work in the pub. Almost done now, gonna make a point of not taking on jobs in this sort of old building ever again, its been murder.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

Badgersrover, 3ft x 4ft from memory. Now how have i spent Sunday. Up about 8.30 Took dogs for a walk. Went over to my mates on business and picked up a portable generator on the way back and fed hens on the allotment. Fitted a new drivers seatbelt in the Spitfire. How can something so simple take so long.  :(  Took the dogs for a walk, again. Had dinner and now the beggers are pestering me again.
